Having never used a realtor to purchase a house before, we were a little nervous of what to expect when we hired Brenda to help us with buying and selling our home. However, she blew our expectations out of the water and we were extremely satisfied with the work she did for us. She assisted us every step of the way, by giving us suggestions on how to get our house ready for sale, providing us with decorations to spruce it up for photos, and constantly being on the lookout for houses to buy that fit our particular needs. In the spring of 2015, with our children moved out and leading independent lives, my wife and I chose to downsize. We met a number of agents before we chose Brenda as the agent to sell our home. We knew Brenda’s family for their involvement in the north end community. It was apparent from the get-go that Brenda knew the north end housing market intimately. Her suggestion to bring in an expert to properly prepare our home for sale was a game changer for us and allowed us to realize more for our house than we had hoped for. We also used Brenda to act for us with the purchase of our condo – she matched us with our dream condo. All in all, Brenda made what could have been an anxiety-filled pair of transactions for us into a relatively seamless move while allowing us to feel confident that our sale and our purchase prices were fair and reasonable.

I was preparing to retire, leave the city and move to a smaller town. Brenda spent a lot of time traveling with me to view homes in several towns across Southwest Ontario. Not only was she a great travel companion, she was very patient with me as I narrowed down what I really wanted and where I wanted to live. She was always reliable, professional, extremely helpful with advice, and she successfully guided me through the purchasing process once I found a house I loved.
